| This 10-hour workshop provides the practice and guidance needed to effectively begin teaching the Wilson Just Words curriculum.
At the completion of the workshop, you will be able to:
- Describe Just Words principles of instruction, the appropriate student population, and the implementation models used
- Review how Just Words materials facilitate multisensory, interactive learning
- Optimize the use of the Instructor Manual
- Plan a Just Words lesson and determine a schedule for a unit
- Practice lesson procedures and activities, reviewing unit structure and materials

Registration
is required before the event and is processed on a first-come,
first-served basis. Payment is due at the time of registration
and includes a continental breakfast or afternoon snack
(for half-day events). Materials are sold separately.
Payment is refundable up to 14 days prior to the event
date, less a $25 processing fee. A confirmation letter
will be sent with directions.
While we make every effort to conduct professional development
events on the dates and locations advertised, they are
subject to change without prior notice. Wilson reserves
the right to change or cancel a professional development
event due to low enrollment or factors beyond our control.
We will attempt to notify registrants to limit customer
inconvenience but we are not liable for any expenses
incurred. |

| Wilson Just Words® Explained |
Just Words targets students from grade 4 to adult who have mild to moderate gaps in their decoding and spelling proficiency but who do not have a significant language learning disability. Wilson Just Words is a supplemental word study program with an emphasis on phonemic awareness, word study, phonics and spelling. Just Words provides “just the word study” part of the WRS curriculum at an accelerated pace.

These workshops are appropriate for teachers beginning to use Just Words instruction in their classrooms, or teachers and administrators interested in learning about Just Words in greater detail.

| Upon Completion |
Teachers are able to teach Just Words with confidence, knowing that they have learned the method to teach Just Words with fidelity.

| Follow-Up Support |
With the purchase of the Just Words Instructor Manual, you will receive a year membership in the Intervention Learning Community (ILC) which provides access to online resources, support and the Just Words InterActivities.
Implementation visits for coaching and feedback can be provided as needed with trainer availability. |
